Having coverage for medical nutrition would mean the world to our family. Instead of feeling like I have to creatively figure out how to buy normal foods at the store I could order more freely and feel more confident. My wallet would also not be hurting and I wouldn’t be buried by credit card debt making sure that Ashlynn gets what she needs. It would be a game changer.
My insurance will cover Kuvan but we can’t find a pharmacy that will cover her formula under our insurance, and no medical food coverage at all.
