Being able to access medical formula is absolutely necessary for my family. My 10 year old son gets 1/3 of his nutrition from Neocate Splash at the moment. We originally tried the top six elimination diet but unfortunately my son’s condition worsened. Our financial state has deteriorated during the pandemic and our son‘s condition was diagnosed after our family had Covid. We are struggling to financially feed our family. We are able to get food benefits but the dietary restrictions that my son has increases the cost of his food greatly. His current diet is the 6 food elimination diet, in addition to eliminating peas, potatoes, navy beans, and string beans, and he drinks two Neocate a day which will increase to three if his weight drops. I have so much food insecurity centered around the fear of running out of food that my child can safely eat.
