Having coverage for medical nutrition would mean I would have access to life-saving foods and formulas without ever having a lapse in coverage. I wouldn’t have to worry about my insurance deciding what’s best for my treatment. It means I could live in any state and take any job without having to first vet their insurance policy and/or state coverage.
Access to medical nutrition gives the power back to the patient and their doctors.

The Medical Nutrition Equity Act will provide key support for those Americans who rely on medical foods to survive and thrive.
